History
Over 80 years have passed since hemp was federally prohibited. Before then, Wisconsin led the charge as one of the Nation’s largest hemp producers. The tide has turned on the revival of hemp since the passing of the federal 2018 Farm Bill legalizing industrial hemp, a form of Cannabis sativa <0.3% THC. An ancient, Sacred plant, used medicinally and functionally by cultures worldwide for 1000’s of years is making its debut once again in the U.S.A. and Wisconsin! Grounded LLC is one of Wisconsin’s first Organic Certified Licensed Industrial Hemp Growers under the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s (DATCP) Industrial Hemp Pilot Project of 2018, 2019 and 2020 and with the Federal USDA Hemp Program since 2021. 100% USDA Organic Certified Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Our product oils are the first in Wisconsin to receive 100% USDA Organic Certification. Our products are Organic Certified by MOSA Organic Certifying Agency who further reviews and certifies all product making, handling, and labeling components. Grounded’s Premier 100% Organic Certified Full Spectrum Hemp Oils provide cannabidiol (CBD) and a complete array of cannabinoids and other compounds naturally found in the Cannabis sativa plant to elicit an 'Entourage Effect' instead of only isolating CBD. It includes, but is not limited to, CBN, CBG, terpenes, chlorophyl, proteins, essential fats, vitamins and minerals. We use an Organic Certified Olive Oil as the carrier oil. The rich flavor signature of our products are drawn from the plant's unique terpenes and this superior olive oil. No additives or flavors are used in our products-- they are strictly in the raw-natural, pure, simple,100% Organic Certified! Organic Certified Hemp Grounded LLC grows Organic Certified Cannabis sativa that is high in cannabidiol (CBD) and low in THC (under <0.3%). Our hemp is Organic Certified by MOSA Certified Organics certifying agency. Our unique approach uses Grounded's heat-controlled compost integrating biodynamic preparations to feed the soil with a full spectrum of nutrients, while biodynamic sprays enhance vigor and energetics to the soil and plants. Grounded grows its own hemp clones indoors and is hand cultivated outdoors, harvested, stored, and dried on site before undergoing extraction processing off-site. Organic Certified Processing Grounded LLC works with an Organic Certified Wisconsin Licensed Processor, Partnered Process, to process the hemp crude extract from the leaf and flower of the hemp plant using Organic Certified Ethanol derived from sugar cane. Partnered Process is one of the first Organic Certified Processors in the U.S.A. The hemp oil undergoes thorough processing, filtering, and temperature gradients to remove all fats and waxes for maximum purity and protection. The result is a clean, organic certified hemp crude extract that contains the full spectrum of beneficial cannabinoids this sacred plant offers. Organic Certified Olive Oil Carrier Oil We use only the finest carrier oil, Organic Certified Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Organic Roots a family farm in California. This award winning olive oil is very high in polyphenols, bringing the strongest antioxidant and cardiovascular health quality to our product. We believe this carrier oil, compared to MCT coconut oil and other carriers, is the most beneficial for your health and better compliments the health intentions of our full spectrum hemp oil. Third Party Tested by ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory Hemp plant biomass and hemp crude extracts are tested by a third party ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory for cannabinoid potency, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, microbiology and pathogens. All product oils are made in small batches and tested to ensure CBD levels and less than <0.3% THC. Pharmaceutical grade Bottle and Dropper All the way down to the bottle, we strive for excellent quality.
