The Importance & Function of Fleece Compost Tarps

Covering compost with a fleece tarp is an essential element of composting, especially when rapid decomposition rates are of the essence! Fleece Compost Tarps are made in Austria, are breathable, woven polypropylene fleece fabric that aid in moisture retention, sheds excessive rain and beating Sun. Tarps provide a dark environment to encourage fungi production, while reducing odor, flies and other critters. Greater temperatures can be achieved by using tarps whereby increasing the rate of decomposition. The durable fabric lasts up to 10+ years, providing extensive coverage 24-7 for your compost needs!
